THE PRACTICAL DETAILS

Terms of service.

Updated 4 October 2026. For business users of Booking System for Salons.

Who provides the service

Booking System for Salons is provided by Yolleg Ltd, 71–75 Shelton Street, London, England, WC2H 9JQ. Contact [email protected].

Your account and responsibilities

You must be authorised to manage the salon and accept these terms. Keep login details secure and grant access only to people who need it. You are responsible for accurate services, prices, working hours, contact details and booking policies. Confirm your salon’s suitability for any appointment and keep your own contingency records if the service is unavailable.

What the first version includes

One salon location, one service and one team member per appointment, a diary, client records, working hours, time off, public booking and cancellation pages, email updates, manual payment records and exports. It does not process salon client payments, provide medical/consultation forms, send SMS, or manage service processing gaps and shared equipment. Appointment balances are record keeping, not accounting or tax advice. We cannot promise that a client will attend or that email will be delivered.

Trial, subscription and cancellation

The trial lasts 14 days without a payment card. Solo includes one bookable team member at £12/month or £120/year; Studio includes up to 15 at £29/month or £290/year. Subscription prices are in GBP and the final amount is shown at Stripe Checkout. A subscription starts only when you complete checkout and renews at the selected interval until cancelled. Manage payment details, invoices and cancellation through the billing portal. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the paid period. If no active trial/subscription remains, the workspace becomes read-only and new online bookings pause; records and exports remain accessible. Contact us about mistaken payments or refunds.

Salon client bookings

The booking arrangement is between the salon and its client. The salon supplies the service, sets its policy and handles any money, refund or complaint. The software does not charge the client’s card. A cancellation in the software releases the appointment but does not move money.

Data processing terms

For client and staff booking data you are the controller and we are the processor. The purpose is to host records, schedule appointments, deliver requested service emails and provide the workspace for the duration of your account and any agreed return/deletion period. Data subjects are salon clients, bookable staff and workspace users; data comprises contact details, ordinary preferences, appointment details, activity and payment records. Do not enter medical or other special-category data into ordinary notes.

Your documented instructions are these terms, your use of the service and lawful support requests. We process salon data only on those instructions unless the law requires otherwise, in which case we notify you unless prohibited. We require confidentiality from authorised personnel, use access controls and secure transport, and assist you with data-subject requests, security incidents, impact assessments and other applicable controller duties. We notify you without undue delay of a personal-data breach affecting your salon data. We provide reasonable information and allow proportionate audits to demonstrate compliance, and tell you if an instruction appears to infringe data-protection law.

You authorise the hosting provider (hosting.com, database/web hosting), Cloudflare (DNS/security/delivery) and Twilio SendGrid (transactional email) as subprocessors for these purposes, subject to appropriate data-protection obligations. Stripe separately handles the salon’s software subscription and card details under its own terms. Where a subprocessor makes an international transfer, applicable transfer safeguards must be in place. We will notify you of material subprocessor changes and give you an opportunity to object before salon data is processed by a replacement.

You can export client, appointment and payment CSVs at any time. Contact us to arrange a complete data return or account deletion. On termination, at your choice, we return or delete salon data and delete existing copies unless retention is required by law; backup copies expire through the backup retention cycle. Requests are authenticated before being acted upon.

Availability and misuse

We maintain and improve the service but do not offer an uptime guarantee. Do not use it to send spam, enter unlawful content, gain access to another salon or disrupt the service. We may restrict access to protect data or investigate abuse and will explain where lawful and practicable.

Changes and disputes

We will communicate material changes affecting existing subscribers and give reasonable notice of price changes before renewal. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. English law applies, without removing mandatory rights that apply to you.
